is located in Grand Junction, Colorado. 626 on Rood is a full service restaurant offering a progressive dining experience complimented by an extensive selection of wines from around the world. 56 wines are available by the glass. 626 on Rood also offers a full selection of premium spirits and beers.

In addition to the contemporary atmosphere of the dining room and lounge, 626 on Rood also has the Urban Garden Patio as an Alfresco dining option.

The 626 Wine List is always changing. Wine Director Brenda Wray is
constantly evolving the wine list, tasting dozens of wines each week. She looks for wines with character, uniqueness, and value. Another consideration is how a wine might match up with other wines in a "flight" - 3 wines grouped  to show varietal character, regional diversity, or sheer sensuality. Most of the wines selected by Ms. Wray make their way into one of the 13 flights. However, a select few are held back for the reserve list.
 
The 626 menus reflect Mediterranean and Latin influences with a decidedly modern American bend. Chef Theo Otte uses local suppliers and growers for many of the organic and natural ingredients used in the 626 kitchen. Only the highest quality ingredients are utilized; the Delmonico is choice Balck Angus ribeye (no antibitoics, no hormones), and the lamb is beautifully raised in Meeker, CO. 626 on Rood is also known for premium seafood; fish is only sourced from Honolulu Fish Company, overnighted directly form the Honolulu docks. Mr. Otte works with suppliers committed to sustainability and care for the ocean environment.

626 on Rood is open 7 days a week: 11 AM-11PM Mon-Sat, Sunday Brunch 11AM-2:30 PM, Sun Evening 4 PM - 10 PM. Amusement Hour 7 days a week: 4PM - 7 PM (Lounge and Patio only), featuring $2, $4, $6 Amusement Menu, $4 Vodka cocktail, $5 glasses of wine. Half priced wine flights Sun. and Mon.
